Whether a tent is waterproof not only related to how much water column of the fabric, the most important are design and workmanship. It sounds easy, but lots of tents on the market is fail to do so, even it mentioned water column 5000mm. Thanks for indoor rain test equipment, which make it possible to have light rain to storm anytime, it help us to find any leaking possibility to ensure us to be able to produce complete waterproof tent.please refer to below video
2. How to identify a tent for how many person?
Accordingly to ISO5912, there are 2 categories for tents. Category A with the total weight per person not more than 2.5kg, Category B with the total weight per person more than 2.5kgs. For Category B, each person should have sleep area not less than 200 x 60cm. For Category A, the total length should not less than 195cm, the width at shoulder should not less than 58cm, at head & feet position should not less than 35cm. If it’s difficult for you to remember it, just have in mind that each person should have sleep area not less than 200 x 60cm.
